…Thus saith the LORD; Shall they fall, and not arise? shall he turn away, and not return? Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them; For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. Consolation
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Exhortation
Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do. A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent. The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame. Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him. Proverbs 15:5; Proverbs 29:15; Proverbs 22:15

Consolation
He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see? He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know? The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity. Psalm 94:9-11

Exhortation

My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them. Psalm 7:10; Psalm 84:11; Proverbs 11:3

Consolation
The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so. The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the LORD: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness. Proverbs 15:7-9

Exhortation
Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised. All the saints salute you. For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him. Psalm 113:3; 2 Corinthians 13:13; Isaiah 64:4

Consolation
Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious. Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee. Consolation
Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the LORD hath both devised and done that which he spake against the inhabitants of Babylon. And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Consolation
They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Psalm 126:5-6

For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed, Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ. Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Psalm 49:3; Romans 15:18, 19; Ephesians 1:14

That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he? He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow. 1 Corinthians 10:22; Psalm 103:9; Isaiah 17:11

Consolation
For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. Consolation

As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day. And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call. Consolation
When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
