Daily Meditation
“God judgeth the righteous,”
The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground; God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. Psalm 58:3; Job 5:6; Psalm 7:11

Hymn

O God, unseen yet ever near,
Thy presence may we feel;

Here may Thy faithful people know
The blessings of Thy love,

Consolation
Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live. Ezekiel 33:14-16

Exhortation
Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation. Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations. For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to be feared above all gods. 1 Chronicles 16:23-25
