“See that none render evil for evil…”
Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work. See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Proverbs 24:29; 1 Thessalonians 5:15; Romans 12:19

O Lord most high, eternal King,
By Thee redeemed Thy praise we sing;

Consolation
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! Exhortation
This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give you into our hands.
