“O foolish people and unwise”
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. Do ye thus requite the LORD, O foolish people and unwise? is not he thy father that hath bought thee? hath he not made thee, and established thee? The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit. Psalm 14:1; Deuteronomy 32:6; Proverbs 14:8

We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised. For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men. 1 Corinthians 4:10; 1 Corinthians 1:21; 1 Corinthians 1:25

He that blesseth his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it shall be counted a curse to him. He that speaketh flattery to his friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail. He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. Proverbs 27:14; Job 17:5; Proverbs 17:9

Friends all around me are trying to find
What the heart yearns for, by sin undermined;

If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. “I will not know a wicked person.”
They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation. A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person. A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised. Deuteronomy 32:5; Psalm 101:4; Proverbs 12:8
