“I will not know a wicked person.”

Manner of Life
Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. Psalm 127:1

Daily Meditation
“I will not know a wicked person.”
They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation. A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person. A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised. Deuteronomy 32:5; Psalm 101:4; Proverbs 12:8

Hymn
“I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:20
There’s a peace in my heart that the world never gave,
A peace it cannot take away;
Though the trials of life may surround like a cloud,
I’ve a peace that has come here to stay!

Charus
Constantly abiding, Jesus is mine;
Constantly abiding, rapture divine;
He never leaves me lonely, whispers, O so kind:
“I will never leave thee,” Jesus is mine.

All the world seemed to sing of a Savior and King,
When peace sweetly came to my heart;
Troubles all fled away and my night turned to day,
Blessèd Jesus, how glorious Thou art!

This treasure I have in a temple of clay,
While here on His footstool I roam;
But He’s coming to take me some glorious day,
Over there to my heavenly home!

Consolation
Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips. Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practise wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties. Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities. Psalm 141:3-5

Exhortation
Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. …Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. 1 Timothy 4:12-15

Proverbs
For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey: He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed. With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him. Proverbs 7:19-21

Weekly Verse:
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1Thessalonians 5:18 6

I Pray Thee
Heavenly Father, guard our lips and order our conversation aright, so that all that we do maybe done to your praise and glory. Amen
