“Thou hast rejected knowledge,”
And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts. Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways. My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. Consolation
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
